Five Beauty Essentials for Boudoir Photography
In any boudoir photoshoot, going the extra mile for your clients is what can set you apart.
Along with Jessica Hill Photography, I own a successful boudoir photography company, Peekaboo Portland.
With these five boudoir beauty essentials, your clients will feel cared for, comfortable and sexy!
**In accordance with state law and for the health/safety of my clients, I’ve adjusted my photoshoot practices to ensure a comfortable six-foot+ distance from all clients with zero contact. Please follow state guidelines and use your own judgement when photographing a client.
Lotion
Lotions add a little sparkle and shimmer to skin giving my clients a beautiful glow.
My go-to: Unscented Alba Very Emollient Body Lotion for those with sensitive skin and Shimmer Lotion without self-tanner
Lip Gloss
A little gloss on the bottom lip adds a subtle and sexy look.
Blotting Papers
I bring these everywhere I go! They reduce shine on the forehead, nose, and chin.
My go-to: NYX Blotting Paper
Makeup Remover
A lot of clients are purchasing boudoir photos to surprise their significant other. Makeup remover is a great way to help them keep the photos a surprise!
My go-to: Bert's Bees Cleansing Towletts with Cotton Extract
Lavender Essential Oil
A few drops of lavender on the sheets adds to the sensual experience as aromatherapy and helps clients to relax.
